Insurance coverage

Landcruise Canada Ltd and our affiliate(s) insurance coverage

All vehicles are insured with $1 million public liability and property damage. The units carry $3,000 deductible for collision and comprehension.

This insurance does not cover liability for loss of personal property, nor does it cover cost for accommodation, transportation or replacement of vehicle, should an accident occur that makes the vehicle inoperable.

Additional Insurance - VIP Insurance

Additional Insurance is available at $24.50 per night. Additional Insurance reduces the customer's liability to $100 per accident with the coverage outlined below.

Accidents must be reported immediately and be accompanied by a written accident report and police file number. Windshield damage is covered with $250 deductible.

Additional Insurance provides coverage in the event of a mechanical breakdown that requires more than 12 hours for repairs of the vehicle to be completed. The radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, appliances and cruise control are not considered to be mechanical breakdowns.

Receipted expenses of $30 per person per night for lodging and $30 per group per day for transportation will be provided. A limit of $3,000 per vehicle per group applies. This plan is not valid in the case of an accident. The customer is responsible for the following maximum charges depending on the plan purchased.

Please note the following conditions:

There is no insurance coverage and client will be responsible for all damages if the vehicle is driven to an unauthorized area without approval. These areas include logging and non public roads, travel to Mexico, the Alaska Highway north of Fort St. John, Cassiar Highway (#37) north of Meziadin Junction, Highway 35 north of Peace River, Yukon and North West Territories, Quebec and Labrador north and east of Sept Illes and Newfoundland. There is a $900 penalty for unauthorized driving in these areas. Damage / accidents while driving in unauthorized areas:- All costs.

Damage and accidents caused while unauthorized driver drives the vehicle:- All costs.Driver under the influence of drugs/alcohol:- All costs. Wilful damage:- All costs. Damage incurred during illegal acts:- All costs.

MOTORHOMES MUST NOT BE LEFT UN-ATTENDED IN MONTREAL & OTTAWA.

Theft of the motorhome in Montreal or Ottawa will result in either 100% replacement cost of the motorhome, without the VIP Insurance or $5,000 with the VIP Insurance purchased!
